"Draw a sword " activity was conducted for grade X to test their fine motor skills and quick thinking.

In order to undertake the activity, the class is split into small groups.A student is called from each group to start.
The chosen student places a dictionary under his/ her arm. The teacher call announces a word which the students must then race to find in their dictionary ( like drawing a sword from under their arms). The group that finds the word first is the winner.

The activity was quite engaging and kept the students on their toes.

Some of the words were.: 
Coign, Brusque, Onomatopoeia etc

It was indeed an enriching experience for the students.
