Leading in times of pandemic . . . !
The investiture ceremony is a proud moment for a school. Despite the widespread of the pandemic, the indomitable spirit of the young talented leaders of Navkis Educational Centre was commemorated by a small august ceremony following the pandemic protocol.
In the investiture ceremony, which began with the school prayer, the school consigned the virtuous deserving office bearers with the responsibility of leading the school from the front with their commitment and competence to scale greater heights. Duties were vouchsafed to inculcate leadership qualities.
The ceremony was flagged off with an inspiring speech by our principal Ms Lalitha Murthy. She congratulated the newly appointed team and their preparedness to take up responsibilities entrusted onto them. She also entreated them to follow what they preach and thus translate the vision of the school into reality. She also encouraged students to be committed and always be sentient of the fact that leadership comes with veracity.
The head boy and the head girl along with the sports teachers, respective house mistresses, assistant house mistresses, captains and vice captains pledged the oath of commitment and endurance. This was followed by rendering the vote of thanks by the head girl. The ceremony ended off with the national anthem and a photo shooting session.
These are unprecedented times. They call for greater patience and solidarity between schools and students. We will overcome this crisis together as proud Navkians.
